Chica

The idea of women helping—not a new idea.

If you have been led to this page, you are likely a new Clever Chica. Thank you for your kindness. Please display your sticker in a place of your choosing, and please give your other two stickers away to others who are kind to you the way you were kind to the Clever Chicas Project. That way, we can keep the Movement going and growing.

Stop for a moment. Review your day. Was there one woman who stopped what she was doing to make your day a little easier—a little brighter? -Or to make your load a little lighter? You likely encounter many such women in a week—a month—a year, right? Now, think: as these women were helping me, they were also taking care of their own lives and responsibilities.

And while they might have seemed so confident and self-assured, often, that very light that drew you to these women is something they don’t really see in themselves.

In gratitude for all the women who go that extra step for us every day, please follow the Clever Chicas Project.

Join the movement.

Let’s keep working until every woman—every little girl—every grandmother—every sister—every aunt—every mother—every friend—sees that she is powerful beyond measure.

With your help, we can share their stories of purpose and the good examples their actions bring to our daily lives.

If you see a Clever Chicas logo on a business, you’ll know that this business is endorsed by this project because one such woman works at this business.

If you see a Clever Chicas logo shared in a public space alongside the graffiti and street stickers that decorate our vast and diverse world, you’ll know that the Clever Chicas Project has been to this location and has been helped in this town or city by at least one Clever Chicas and her kind heart.

If you see a Clever Chicas sticker on a computer or water bottle, you’ll know you are looking at a woman who is kind and eager to spread her kindness.

If you are a woman in need of support or comfort or just a friendly face, this logo is your sign that a Clever Chica is nearby to help.

Clever Chicas is part of a worldwide journey started in the summer of 2018. This Movement realizes that Clever Chicas are out there waiting to be discovered and waiting to make us all stronger and warmer in their light.

Compañero

The idea of men helping women—not a new idea.

If you have been led to this page, you are likely a new Compañero. Thank you for your kindness. Please display your sticker in a place of your choosing, and please give your other two stickers away to others who are kind to you the way you were kind to the Clever Chicas Project. That way, we can keep the Movement going and growing.

Stop for a moment, Chicas. Review your day. Was there one colleague, one male figure, one gentle hombre, one Compañero who stopped what he was doing to make your day a little easier—a little brighter? Or to make your load a little lighter? You likely encounter many such Compañeros in a week—a month—a year, right? Now, think: as these Compañeros were helping me, they were also taking care of their own lives and responsibilities.

And while they might have seemed so confident and self-assured, often, that very light that drew you to these Compañeros is something they don’t really see in themselves.

In gratitude for all the women and men who go that extra step for us every day, please follow the Clever Chicas Project.

Join the movement.

Let’s keep working until every woman—every little girl—every grandmother—every sister—every aunt—every mother—every friend—and now, every compañero------sees that she or he is powerful beyond measure.

Compañero is a Spanish word layered with a long history of usage and meaning.  In one sense, it means an equal.  Friend is another implied meaning. When Chilean poet Pablo Neruda left this world, legend has it that the crowd chanted Compañero Pablo Neruda.

For the Clever Chicas project, Compañero’s meaning is much like that of Chica—you know one when you see one.

After a year of community and sticker sharing and storytelling, this project expands in including and recognizing Compañeros. Their logo imparts the same goals, dreams, and vision as our original symbol.

If you are in need of support or comfort or just a friendly face, this logo is your sign that a Clever Chica or Compañero is nearby to help.

The circle grows larger; the community grows stronger.
